Kicking Off an Amazing Season: Southside and Rainbow Middle Soccer Aim High!

It’s an incredibly exciting time for Southside High School and Rainbow Middle School soccer! We’re starting this new season with a huge group of enthusiastic players—over 90 athletes from the 7th grade up to the 12th grade, meaning we have four teams working together.

Having this many talented players is awesome, but it also means we have a big job ahead of us in terms of scheduling and making sure everyone gets good coaching. The great news is that our coaching staff is ready for this challenge. We’ve set up a system where everyone improves, focusing on solid skills and the dedication it takes to win.

Varsity's Tough Road Ahead

The Southside Varsity Soccer team is facing a really difficult schedule this year. They’ll be playing many of the largest and most difficult teams in the state (the 7A schools), plus they have tough tournaments lined up.

This hard schedule isn't a mistake; it’s on purpose. We believe that playing the toughest opponents is the best way to get our team ready for the final games. It will demand focus, excellent teamwork, and a lot of hustle from every player.

The Big Prize: Chasing Another Championship

Even though the journey is going to be demanding, the main goal for the entire program hasn't changed. We are aiming for the same incredible result as last year's team: winning the State Championship!

This big goal is what motivates everyone, from the youngest players at Rainbow Middle to the seniors on the Varsity squad. It shows the high standard we set for ourselves. Come out and support these hard-working student-athletes all season long.
